Jafer has 10 years safety work of a progressive nature including 6 years of experience on Construction projects. Jafer is currently responsible as a Sr. Risk & Loss Control Consultant at the Los Angeles World Airport (LAWA) which consist of eight major OCIP projects: Bradley West Gates, Bradley Core, Taxiway ‚ Cross Field Taxilane and upcoming Central Utility Plant (CUP), call for major interior renovations, improvement, including, passenger-boarding lounge, outside ramp areas, new taxiways and new terminal concourses.Jafer is responsible for providing leadership loss control services including; daily jobsites observations and providing safety recommendations to eliminate and correct construction safety concerns mandated by OSHA Regulations, LAWA Rules & Regulations and Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP) Safety Standard throughout the projects. Jafer provides onsite training, Monthly narrative and statistic report to Aon director of safety and LAWA Management.
Jafer has completed the following major projects at LAWA; Runway (25L) project a $ 242 million total project value with 1.03 million man-hour, Tom Bradley International Terminals (TBIT) a $ 572 million total project value with 2.6 million man-hour, In Line Baggage System at Terminal 3 a $101 million total project value with 360,000 man-hour and Cross Field Taxilane a 105 million total project value with 415000 man-hour. Overall worker compensation loss per man-hour: $0.22.Jafer is Los Angeles World Air Port (LAWA) Authorized Signer and Certified Trainer: he trained new employees and processed their LAWA badge. He handled Customs Boarder Protection (CBP) insurance bonds, prepared and submitted Quarterly Report and employer annual auditing.

Prior to joining Cumbre, Jafer was working for AON as Sr. Risk & Loss Control Consultant, managing and leading on LAWA projects, Southern CA residential projects for Pardee Home Builder and Shea Home. In addition, Jafer was safety manager for Clark Construction at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar‚ BRIG Project‚ San Diego CA: Expansion/Alterations to the Joint Regional Correctional Facility Marine Corps Air Station Miramar. Impalement USACE EM 385-1 requirements. Furthermore, Jafer was regional safety coordinator for Lennar Residential Home Builder: He was responsive of 12 divisions throughout California, conducted safety evaluations per Cal OSHA and report finding to Division Presidents, Vice Presidents of Construction and Executive Safety Director. More-so, Jafer was Environmental Health and Safety at 3M Pharmaceuticals, Northridge, CA. Conducted noise survey, air sampling, ergonomic control, reviewed and updated MSDS database and books, worked on Process Safety Management (PSM) and reviewed standard operating Procedures (SOP).

Jafer graduated from the California State University, Northridge, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety. Professional Affiliation Member of Southern California American Industrial Hygiene Association (SCAIHA).

Jafer is authorized instructor for OSHA 10 Hour and 30 Hour Construction Outreach Training. Jafer is Hazardous Material and Waste Management Certified. Jafer held Fire and Casualty Broker-Agent license.
